Chelsea side against us was pretty strong with more or less their first choice defence and Matic plus Costa and Hazard coming on in the second half ... expecting Pool to be taking this quite seriously now ...

Yes. Pool probably have a stronger squad than us, and with a certain Mr Kane out injured, we don't have too many choices up front.

I would certainly expect us to start with a stronger side than last night, but then make lots of changes at half time.

Like you, we have the CL to think of too, apart from the Prem.

We got Big Club in Europe Cup to play in. They will have their best team playing in the League Cup.

So long as some of our kids get a run out.

We;re happy with the draw but nobody is saying we're through.
 
I'm remembering when 'Pool lost to Brenford Town at Klanfield, not so long ago, despite putting out their best side, so it isn't beyond the realms of wonder that our third side, comprising of 12 and 13 year olds can beat them.

Personally, I do think that Klipperty will field his strongest side against us, but I hope that Poch plays our C team again. If we lose, we lose, so what! We have much bigger fish to fry.

If 'Pool do win that match, it won't stop Klipperty dancing like a spazmoid on the touchline. The thought of that already sickens me.
