That leaves Palace most likely to pursue a six-month deal for Adebayor, who has not played since appearing for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City last May. The Togolese is a free agent but will still be paid £100,000 a week by Spurs up to the end of June, the expiry date of his contract. It means Tottenham would have to make up any wage package to that amount should the 31-year-old agree lesser terms elsewhere.

If you're going to take the piss out of someone for paying out lots of money in wages to a striker, then that one might not be the best choice.
How much did you end up shelling out on Bendtner's decade at Arsenal and when's his testimonial?

He's the twat who tripped over his own bootlaces whilst attempting a volley at, what would have been, Arsenal's only shot at goal, in the debacle against Barca, a couple of seasons back.

Arsenal are playing Barca again, soon, aren't they?
