So anyway...why hasn't Poch walked now that he has been told by the players that they don't want to play for him? Would have been Breaking news

Go back to bed

<laugh>

Of course but it's already been admitted for a good few months now. Poch was favourite for the sack last time I looked.

So what else could it mean?

Levy invited Poch for a meal a few weeks back too. You wasn't paying attention or you and your fellow Goonz could have made a song and dance of that too

My pointing out the obvious to the naively oblivious Quentin seems to have hit a nerve, bru... sorry <smooch> <laugh> <cheers>

Spuds fizzing over this meal.

It was just a normal everyday trip to Nando's boys, no need for the fireworks <laugh>

Bullshit.

You’re hardly gonna invite the person you’re plotting against to participate in your plans.

They didn't ... they invited him to a players dinner to try and present a united front ... whilst they sound out the likes of Maureen at the real planning meetings.... <laugh>

They probably nominated Kane to tell Poch the bad news, but he was too busy trying to pick food out of his bib.

I don't get it. Spurs fans happy about Poch staying? If this turns out to be true, it's great news for rival fans. Not quite sure why Spurs fans would be so happy too though. That would be like Arsenal fans being happy when Wenger stubbornly stuck around season after season, or United fans being happy that Moyes, LVG and Mourinho stubbornly stuck around at OT for quite as long as they did.

There are so many things wrong with your post, that I don't know where to begin...

Where were Spurs before Poch?

What was our level of consistency like? Hell, did we even have any consistency!

As a lifelong fan who grew sick and tired of watching Spurs drift in and out of midtable mediocrity and always playing bridesmaid to Arsenal, I can assure you that every reasonably intelligent Spurs fan knows exactly how much Poch is worth.

Don’t give up the day job, mate. <ok>

No chance of that ... but it's a good job you retired when you did ... coz you is way out of touch now <ok>

If something similar had happened at Arsenal with Wenger or Mourinho with Chelsea towards the end of their tenures you would have been creaming your budgie smugglers at any desperate glossing attempts by the clubs ... stop sniffing the Sangria and try the Nescafe mate <laugh>
