Yes. I was using that as an indication of the potential of our young team to improve further, not as any suggestion that we were entitled to win the title.

not that i can read your mind, but when you proclaim your team as the best team over 2 seasons then that doesn't indicate potential (of course there should be improvement as you have a young team) but one that is actually the best team if not one of the best teams.

Never really said you were entitled to win the league as no one is. That would be pure arrogance.

Well we've been one of the best teams for three seasons now based on almost any sensible measure. But we could get 90 points this season and still not win it because Man City are so strong. I'm not sure what we can do about that.

yes, Man City are ridiculously strong this year and last year.

I'm not sure anyone would say the same of Chelsea are Leicester the year before (even if that chelsea side had a record breaking season).

You would think one of the trophies were attainable (FA cup, Carling Cup) for one of the best teams around

No they were not but they got more points than we did and that's all that counts. We got more points than we've ever had before in those two seasons and it still wasn't enough. All we can do is to try to improve.

btw, i edited the post before you got the last part.

As for this post - fair enough <ok>. I just don't want you ever belittling how strong your team is and that it's at the stage where it's underachieving for the strength it is

I think we now have the second best team and the third best squad in England and we are a few notches lower in Europe. The teams immediately below us are not much weaker. That still means we are more likely not to win a trophy than win one. Particularly if we don't put out our best XI in the League Cup and with the ground situation.

Bobby's going to kick off in a minute.

Best keep your laundry staff away from him, and any fragile kitchen items.

Man United 0 v 3 Spurs

Kane and Moura - names that will go down as legends at the new WHL - as the Juggernaut trounces United on their own turf, ushering in a brand new era. One in which United struggle against mid table mediocrity, and in which Spurs, yet again, challenge for the title.

It took the lads until the dying embers of the first half to find their rhythm, but a superb pep talk from Poch at half time saw them come out rejuvenated.

The football was, at times, sublime.

United didn't stand a chance.

I remember when Mourhino laughed at us, stealing Willian from under our noses. How fitting it would be if he is sacking after this defeat.

So, kiss those badges, boys! God knows you all deserve it!

Sorry mate, you were the second best team tonight and won 0-3 due to piss poor errors. You won't get gifts every week but should still battle for top 4 :emoticon-0100-smile
