I've been giving this some thought, and I believe I've worked out what the score is.
Arsenal fans have accepted that it's going to be a fair while before they get back into top 4 contention - perhaps upwards of a decade, like 'Pool took - so they know that there is little point in wumming us, as they are no longer our rivals. You'll probably find the likes of G4E wumming Tobes and Bambi, as they'll naturally view Everton and Leicester as their rivals, now.
Chavs, however, still have aspirations of being a top 4 club, and being a yo-yo side we'd expect them to make top 4 every other year, replacing either United or 'Pool. Therefore, they have far more to resent about Spurs being a top 4 perennial side, and will try to wum us.
I'm not wumming, here; just trying to make sense of it all, yeah?
