Absolutely, the squad might not have the depth and you may lack a few things (PACE) but its the CL, it's a knockout competition and alongside a number of teams you can beat anyone on their day.
Pace we can have with Rose and hopefully Aurier. My concern is, as always, how we fail to break down packed defenses. If Eriksen doesn’t do it, we struggle...
Rose has it but i'd argue Ben Davies is the 1st choice especially after Rose's faux pas. Aurier has it but at the moment he's a pretty big liability to me. Rash with his tackling and you can see either positionally he's bad but he's diving in all the time (good last ditch tackling or because of awful positioning, this was the west ham match when he made 2 excellent last ditch tackles). I described him in the general match thread as a slightly better Moreno, good physically and technically but a little brainless and a bit of a liability, whether that's a red card happening or stupid dangerous passes (in that palace match). I'm not saying pace is the end all and be all, but it's certainly something that pushes defences back and gives your midfield more room to play.
