Yes, it would be much better if we copied you and embarrassed ourselves in the qualifiers after sneaking into it via the Fair Play League. Beating some Andorrans, losing to some Maltesers and being eliminated by some Romanians is the in thing, you know. What's West Ham's aim for this season? Let's say that all goes well. How do you see this going? Top 4 looks very, very unlikely. The same is probably true of the domestic cups. That leaves a top 7 finish and a return to a competition that you don't want to be in as your best case scenario. Wonderful.
Lots of people give a **** about it. Every country outside of the UK for a start. If by some miracle West Ham (if still in the competition) got through to the last 16, 8, 4, 2 or even won the thing, are you saying you wouldn't consider it a highlight of your time supporting the club?
