With the way he's playing and his pristine injury record, I'd imagine Brown's good for another few years as well. I definitely think he should be our captain too, most commanding presence we've got, more so than Howson and Kisnorbo doesn't have the bottle for it anymore and is out injured.
Yea maybe so, i definitely thought he did better than vayrynen when he came on against arsenal to be honest although people seem to think vayrynen did alright. Brown is a wierd player for me, i definitely want him in the squad and maybe even first team but he cant play every game of the season for a few different reasons being his age, suspensions etc.
I agree if we are going to play the 4-5-1 with Ross dropper to bench id play Townsend, pugh, brown, clayton, snoddy with Brown captain I think thats a great midfield
I watched Vayrynen away at Peterborough, he looked lost and was substituted not a moment too soon. I watched him on ESPN against Arsenal and I wasn't impressed, he wasn't the worst midfielder, that was Nunez by a mile but considering his International appearances you would expect him to stand out in a team missing the likes of Howson and Snodgrass.
I could make an appearance for Honduras they only have 20 players who play football! Nunez was awful and doesnt suit english football one bit, To be fair to Varyrynen against peterborough he was played out of position and kept tucking ino CM! That game showed how Lloyd sam deserves a chance he came on at half time and ran at players n caused them problems
All of this is amazing. Time was very recently when many on here & the other site were saying that Brown was a donkey & a waste of money. Me, I wasn't sure. But it does seem as though he can do a job for us, albeit with a decent rest period between games. Things are starting to look up. Time for the - in Grayson we trust MOT - sign off.
Boggers I always liked brown he was injured at the start of the season and hadnt played since January Grayson probably shouldnt have chucked him straight in!
Nobody could have possibly enjoyed his opening day performance, he was like a bull in a china shop and he could and probably should have been sent off in the opening half.
His first game for leeds was woeful but i was always optimistic with this signing and said this is exactly what we need however now im staying a little more neutral to be honest, although his recent performances have been good
That's exactly what I said to my mate before the game, & then he goes & lumps Martin.....& gets away with it!
This thread is here to make sure this hero is definitely SUNG, not UNSUNG. Great performances against Hull and especially Boro, not just doing the dirty work well, but also getting into a great scoring position and playing some classy passes. WELL IN BROWNY!
He`s my sort of player! Let them know they are playing Leeds,i was brought up in the Hunter era, they shat themselves playing us.Thank you Warnock for making us solid, not perfect yet but we are moving on
