I mean, we did win one game with Huddlestone in the team recently. He looked as if he thought he'd done his work for the season today. Just back to normal.
It's **** all to do with David Meyler or Tom Huddlestone and everything to do with a fat **** called Steve Bruce who would struggle to organise a piss up in a brewery.
He be a Jonah, be Tom. Huddlestone should jump off the side of a ship holding a cannonball. Do you think Bruce is aware of the stats around pretty passer Huddlestone?
That's incredible really but the problem is, Meyler has been in "Euros mode" for most of the second half of this season when he's played - looking like he wants to avoid injury to represent Ireland.
Meyler gets better the more he doesn't play! I can still hear the moans & groans of previous games when he's over run the ball! Or turned back inside instead of seeing an obvious pass.
Have you not seen his more recent games? Pulling out of tackles, etc. It's been there for all to see.
What speculation? Bruce said that's what happened, and was quite annoyed about it. You're accusing him of not trying which is bollocks.
And I'm pointing to evidence that his foot hasn't come off the gas. No crossed wires here. You're making false accusations with no evidence.
There's no "evidence" his foot has or hasn't come off the gas. It's speculative. It's opinions. I've seen much more of him than you have this season - certainly, live - and his performances aren't to the same level and he has jogged around midfield in the more recent games, hardly tackling, etc. So, in my opinion, his performance has been to the level we used to see. And I speculated whether that coincided with Ireland's qualification for the Euros. That's the only part of my post you can probably call "bollocks".
And I'm pointing out if his foot had come off the gas he would be telling Bruce he wasn't right to play to make sure he stays fit for the Euros. Considering he did the exact opposite and played injured, the notion that he has an eye on the Euros is rubbish.
