I can't remember which set, but one lot of early rules set the length of nail that was allowed to protrude, as some players were using them to hamstring opponents. The keeper must have been insane diving for a 50/50 ball.
It's generally more pungent than most forms of cannabis, Snudge. I'm a tad concerned that absolutely no one will have an inkling as to what the **** I'm wittering on about here. Not about the drugs obvs. I'm guessing by the standard of your posts that most of you are constantly stoned. It's the early '60s sitcom reference that's worrying me.
Oh FFS we've got no chance now. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...kes-meyler-a-doubt-for-play-offs-3082274.aspx Steve Bruce says midfielder David Meyler is a major doubt to feature in the Tigers’ play-off campaign next month. The Irish international has missed the last two games with a hamstring problem and is unlikely to play in the final games of the regular season against Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United. “David aggravated his hamstring against Reading last Tuesday which is disappointing because he said he felt okay,” said Bruce. “It looks as though that has made it worse. He certainly won’t make it for Saturday against Bolton and I’d be doubtful about him making it for the Rotherham game, so that must make him a doubt for the play-offs.”
Maybe big Dave can be our mascot for the play-offs like Marney was the last time around, we went up without him. Hayden in Hughes role... can but dream
I see where you are coming from but I'd play Hayden above Meyler, not the other two. Been a long day....
I actually miss Yugoslavia, it's a piece of history thats gone for ever, reminds me of reading spy novels as a kid for some reason
If that's the case I'm confused as to why he said he was fine to play, and in the process aggravated an injury.
I looked into the win % when he plays and it checks out. I compared it with a few others. Maguire has a lower win % even with our winning run in January with him in the side, Dawson's is lower despite not playing many more games than Meyler (30 v 26). One interesting one is Hernandez, and the games he scores in: v Fulham: W 2-1 (DNS) v Charlton L 2-1 (Scored) v Preston W 2-0 (Scored) v Brighton L 1-0 (DNS) v Cardiff W 2-0 (Scored) v QPR D 1-1 (DNS) v Blackburn D 1-1 (Scored) v Forest W 1-0 (Scored) v Wednesday D 1-1 (Scored) v Ipswich W 3-0 (DNS) v Birmingham W 2-0 (Scored) v Leicester W 1-1* (Scored) v MK Dons W 2-0 (DNS) v Brentford W 2-0 (DNS) v Boro W 3-0 (DNS) v Derby L 2-0 (DNS) v Man City L 4-1 (DNS) v Reading W 2-1 (Scored) v Rotherham L 2-0 (DNS) v Burnley W 3-0 (Scored) v Preston L 1-0 (DNS) v QPR W 2-1 (Scored) v Cardiff W 2-0 (Scored) v Charlton W 6-0 (Scored) v Fulham W 1-0 (Scored) v Burnley L 1-0 (DNS) v Blackburn W 2-0 (Scored) v Brighton D 0-0 (DNS) v Ipswich W 1-0 (DNS) v Wednesday D 0-0 (DNS) v Birmingham L 1-0 (DNS) v MK Dons D 1-1 (DNS) v Forest D 1-1 (DNS) v Boro L 1-0 (DNS) v Bristol City W 4-0 (DNS) v Derby L 4-0 (DNS) v Huddersfield D 2-2 (Scored) v Wolves W 2-1 (DNS) v Reading W 2-1 (Scored) v Leeds D 2-2 (Scored) So there's only been 5 games where Hernandez has scored where we haven't won, and only one game where he scored but we lost.
It's still there, it's just been rebranded into smaller areas with different & catchier names & acronyms that make it more appealing.
