It will be interesting in a year, or two, to look what all these players are doing.......same club, no games....same club, doing ok......become the next Messi or Cantona.....middling club (like us), trundling along....or at Chester, warming the bench.

Can anyone remember who either our best loanee was OR who's doing the best now?

Someone using this site late in 2014/5 should give us an update!!

    Well then...

Gayle and Eaves back in on loan until Jan 5th

    And...

    Curiously Goldson out on loan.

Nice to see them come in, but I hope Goldson is only going out to get some decent experience.

In the week leading up to 11th January we lose six players.....what the h**l happens then? Could be an interesting couple of weeks and depending on our status then it could be the turning point of our whole season!

We have been crying out for a specialist right back and a decent centre forward all season and its better late than never. I thought Gayle was good for us last season and we all know what Eaves is capable of even though he is a rather curious player in that he does just seem to score individual goals but at least he does score. Him teamed with Bradshaw, Macalinden or Ugwu gives us some real attacking options. What happens after the New Year I don't know but we now have a fighting chance of being out of the relegation zone then. I am really surprised to see Goldson go out on loan as in my opinion he is unlucky not to be starting at centreback.

Wow! Could we see 4-3-3 or a flexible 3-4-3? That would be exciting!:smiley-finger007:

I'm hoping GT can sneak a 4-4-3 on the pitch without the ref or opposition noticing

we'll probably play a 8-0-3 with all centre mids.

It was because we needed a big strong fella up front! Saying that it sounds, like Parry had a top game too.

I agree Matster for the first time this season we had two guys who were both a physical presence up front and the highlights show Parry floating some lovely crosses into them and Summerfield passing really well. As fans I think we are entitled to ask why it has taken almost half the season to get where we should have been in terms of players at the start of it.
