There definitely was one, called "The Golfing Thread' I think, but I can't find it either :emoticon-0145-shake

Never mind . . . . there's one now :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not that I'm massively interested, or have heard of any of the two that you mentioned, Flanders :cheesy:

I've been invited to a fair few 'golf days' in the past, but always turned them down thinking that those places should go to someone who is interested, so I've never had a go in my life.

Looking back, I probably should have accepted free lessons, and booze, and I might have been able to play golf now :emoticon-0112-wonde

It’s golf days that made me an expert with gin and tonic rather than the game itself, Gordon

Best part about golf is the port and grappa at 6:30 in the morning <cheers>

As to the masters i think Westwood will do well this year

I play every Friday and Saturday over here, we have a rule who doesn't get past the ladies tee with their drive has to buy a gin and tonic for those in his group...We have some terrible golfers play with us, hence when I do the Prediction League scores on Sunday morning, my head is not functioning correctly

I don't watch enough of it so I've got no idea who's going to win other than the obvious candidates, I'll say Morikawa just for fun. I'm looking forward to this one.

I saw there's a golfer called Robert MacIntyre making his masters debut, I've seen him a couple of times and was impressed. One to keep an eye on maybe.

Since lockdown I've enjoyed watching more of the golf and cricket since ever before. I now enjoy watching these more than some footy, apart from the lads of course. I'm looking forward to the IPL starting tomorrow.

As for the Masters, Westwood has been in good form but I'll choose one of the favourites Justin Thomas.

Best driver in the game, got to be Tiger Woods. Got great speed.

Justin Thomas from the favourites and I like Daniel Berger at a bigger price.

The masters weekend is probaby my favourite weekend in sport, from a tv viewing experience. I just hope it is close come Sunday night.
