A Kiwi called Steve Williams, Tiger sacked him about 18 months after his ‘shag gate’ scandal. Steve was understandably pissed off after 13 or so years of loyalty (plus a lot of money, estimated $12m) He must have been good, caddied for the great Peter Thompson and Greg Norman before Woods and with Adam Scott after, winning the Masters.
If I remember correctly, whilst caddying for Tiger Woods, Williams actually came top in New Zealand’s highest earning sportsman category four years on the trot bearing in mind a caddy earns a wage and 10% of the Golfers winnings and in tigers heyday that meant over 4 million US dollars a year for Williams.

That would be Steve Williams. New Zealands highest paid athlete in his day. Woods sacked him after Williams carried for Adam Scott whilst Woods was injured despite being on a massive retainer. Williams then came out with a load of racist insults. Classy feller, surprised Woods stuck him for as long as he did.

We Anzac's are much the same, we don't like assho!es and we call a spade a spade.
For Williams to come out and sprout some crap about Woods, l'd tend to think the mud would stick.
Williams has a lot more class than Tiger but that wouldn't be hard.

Koepka falling apart in the USPGA. A seven-shot lead going into the final round has shrunk to just one.

………..and now back to three.

Thought he may have been doing a 'Norman' on the final day.
l have a son-in-law who was a pga professional. He's told me many a story of final day jitters.
Pressure does everything.

Still remember a young Freddy Couples missing a one foot putt for half a million prize money in a play off here in Oz.

Anyone watching the US Open? Koepka is a machine.
A machine he may be, but why have a big American muscle car, all grunt and noise, when you can have a nice quiet sporty little number that does the job just as well.
I play golf and there’s and old saying..................
“ Drive for show, Putt for Dough “
Yes he is a machine but machines are only built for certain jobs and you will find that his type of game is only suitable for about 35% of the courses that the European tour and American PGA play on, I’ll leave my judgement until the Open at Portrush where Crash, Bang, Wallop is NOT the way to play Links golf, if he can a adjust his game and play softly, softly catchee monkey then sentence can be passed on his game,
But as to your original post Hell Yes he’s a machine.
