I think Fletcher's done anyways. He apparently is supposed to train with the squad during preseason, but I think he won't be able to play at the top level anymore if he plays at all. Hopefully Thiago and Strootman rumors are true, gives quite some depth at CM. Carrick, Cleverly, Thiago, Strootman, Giggs, Kagawa, Jones, and Anderson. Included Anderson as he is still a member of the team.
Daily Mail claim that personal terms agreed of £5m per season for Thiago Alcantara, a fee of approx £17m will be agreed with Barca. Now just Strootman and Garay to come in and sort the Rooney/Nani situations out and we are ready for the season.
I'd rather see if Fletcher can make a comeback than try to rely on Anderson for another season. At least Fletcher is making progress in overcoming his medical issues, whereas Anderson seems to lurch from one crock to another. Fletcher is also infinitely more professional and much more likely to reach his full fitness quicker than Anderson imo. And even with his medical issues he has played as big a role in the team as Anderson has over the past three years.
I wasn't insinuating Anderson should stay instead of Fletcher, I just included Anderson in the list of squad players because he's still a member of the team until he gets sold. I don't doubt Fletcher's professionalism, but I fear his illness will have taken its toll and we won't be be able to play at the top level anymore. I'd love for him to make a comeback, as its players like him that make our team as good as it is.
And Anderson and Evras futures sorted otherwise Baines and we hope Ronaldo comes back but can we really see Varela, Garay, Strootman, Thiago and possibly Baines and Ronaldo all signed

What im hearing from Spanish papers is that they have told him that they can not guarantee him the matches he wants to force his way into spains first team for world cup nxt year, so he will definitely be leaving this summer and no buyback clause either.
Have also heard rumours that his lack of playing time last season triggered a release clause, so it's basically down to Thiago where he goes now - Barca can't stop him if he decides to leave. But it's all piss and wind until a deal is actually signed.

well according to Daily star (yeahh not a reliable source), he is set to ask Spurs to let him go, if that is true , it is either us or Real then .. imo 50%-50% chances .. the good thing is if Real get him, this mean we will get CR .. so it is a win-win situation for us so hope he decided to leave
