I read in some papers that CR deal is hanging on Real getting Bale first .. ok so if Bale is perceived as a better deal for REAL , then why we are not getting Bale ourself instead?
1. Spurs will never sell Bale to us. 2. Ronny is rumoured to be unsettled where he is and would go back to United, so if that is true Real would only let him go if they had a quality replacement. Either way no player is worth that sort of silly money.
tunns said it in one, Spurs just wouldn't sell their most prized asset to a bigger rival, they ain't managed by Wenger you know!! I would rather have ronaldo than bale because of the Utd connection and any way I thought he would follow AVB to PSG if you believe the papers.
Ronaldo is better than Bale by a small margin (although certainly better) - But Bale is the better investment being 5 years younger - Bale, at 23, is better than Ronaldo was, at 23.
Ronaldo at 23 scored 42 goals in all competitions. Not sure how Bale is better at 23. Bale is a great player, but to suggest he is almost as good as Ronaldo is borderline insane.
Mainly because I think Ronaldo has had a good team built around him when hes been at United and at Madrid. Bale has had very little help from the rest of our team and frankly has won us about 15-20 points alone this season. I think in a team that had the creativity and support that Ronaldo had at 23, Bale would be just as good! Of course if Moyes is reading.... Bale is ****e, no point signing him he's a three season wonder and will be useless next year
He lives at the end of my road, if he doesn't sign for United I'll run the ****er over! ...... as I nearly did last summer!
Guess we'll only know if (when?) Bale joins a better team. Probably fair to say if Bale had been at Utd for as long as Ronaldo was then Bale would have every chance of being as good as Ronaldo was at Utd, possibly even better. Tho' if he goes to RM this year, at pretty much the same age Ronaldo went to them, I seriously doubt he'll average a goal every game. Bale's probably almost as good as Ronaldo for speed, technique and ball control, but Ronaldo is better in the air, and at getting his head up when moving with the ball, so I doubt Bale will ever match Ronaldo's goalscoring record at the highest level.
