Sinking ship? If any ship is sinking, it's yours, not ours. We have made big improvements this summer with quality additions. You on the other hand have had a miserable transfer summer, with your own manager coming out and complaining. You failed to get your main targets in Hazard and whoever the f--k that Brazilian was, Lucas. And this is a United squad that most people, even you silly Mancs, require strengthening. Add all of this to the fact that you're no longer the top team in City, then you also have the financial troubles and the instability of your American owners. So if I was to put it all together, I'd say that it's you who's on the sinking ship. To sum it up, your main transfer target is RVP, an Arsenal player, that shows what a bad situation you're in, and how bad your summer transfer has gone, that your begging Arsenal to give you their player, dumb c--nts. You will only get him when you give us our money, which will only financially strengthen us, and allow us to bring in more additional quality players with the ones we've already added. RVP isn't going to be your knight in shining armour, he's not going to be the one that puts you on the level of Barca or Madrid, he's just going to be the signing to mask your teams failure in the transfer market this summer. I rate RVP, but as I said, he will not reach the same heights for you as he did with us last season. Different systems, different players, he's been at Arsenal a long time so has established a connection on the pitch with players he's been around with, so they know where he will be, where to make the pass etc. Song was one of the main contributors behind RVP's goals last year. Why do you think RVP doesn't shine for Holland, but at Arsenal, he's top class? It's the TEAM and SYSTEM that make the player perform. Kagawa is just what you need, i'm sure he is, after the likes of Hazard, Sneider, and Modric, he was like your 4th back up lest you failed in getting all your other top transfer targets.
I'm sure Mancs are content with winning the Community Shield while Manchester City won the league, and Chelsea won the Champions League. Right....... The thing is though if we went out and got Modric, Baines and RVP and won the league we would most probably end up with people saying "we bought the league" quotes come the end of the season but because we have only brought in Kagawa and Powell and maybe RVP we will get told we still need strengthening. its a no win situation.
That's a COMPLETE LIE, you were NEVER in talks with RVP before Hazard, you only began interest in RVP after he said he wouldn't sign a new contract which was in July and that's when you started making offers. What a load of BULL ****, so according to you, you became interested in Hazard only in July AFTER Chelsea had already signed him? Your main priorities were Hazard, and Lucas, you failed in both. Especially the latter, when you thought you had it wrapped up until PSG broke your bubble and made you realised you're no longer as powerful as you once were, ;-). To even hear your manager complain about how crazy the transfer market has become shows how desperate you have become, of all people, SAF wants to complain about ludicrous transfer market deals, when he was the manager who played a big part in it, by selling Ronaldo for a WORLD RECORD of 80 million? Not to mention all the other transfer dealings United have done, how much did you pay for Rooney, for Ferdinand A DEFENDER, for Berbatov who you leave on the bench to rot. If you made those signings, fair and square, without leaving yourself in major debt and losses as a result of those signings, then I wouldn't say anything. If you earn big money, nothing wrong in spending that money, that's how it should be. And even deep down YOU KNOW that you need strengthening even with the purchases Kagawa, Powell, and the potential RVP. To begin with, you don't need a striker, you have 4 quality strikers, even taking Berbatov out, you still have 3 quality strikers in Rooney, Wellbeck, and Hernandez. All RVP's going to do is stifle one of your strikers, most likely Wellbeck. So that's not really strengthening United, your striking options were just fine. What about Powell, you really think an 18 year old from Crewe Alexndra is going to strengthen you? LOL, COMMON, you think an 18 year old from Crewe Alexendra is the answer to MANCHESTER UNITED, one of the biggest clubs in the world? You think he's the answer to strengthening your midfield, and to strengthen you to the heights of Barca, Madrid, and City? Kagawa is a good player, I'll give you that, but in my books, he's not as good as Hazard, Cazorla, Sneider, Mata etc and many other attacking midfielders out there. An attacking midfielder is one area United had to strengthen, and Kagawa is that strengthening, as I said, he's a good player, but is he the proper strengthening you needed for that area? I say with all respect, no, he isn't, you could have gotten much better, and you did want much better, but you couldn't get Sneider, Modric, Hazard, so you had to get him, I don't think he was ever your first choice to sign.
