Real Madrid won't pursue a deal for Nicolas Otamendi because they believe Manchester United have sealed an agreement for the Argentina defender. I thought the same thing. And where does it leave Hummels? Is it time to accept he's no longer on the cards. Not any rumours on him at all in the last 2 months. If I had to pick 2 out of that 3, Hummels would be first choice.
Hummels would have been my first choice but I gave up on him weeks ago. I still feel there could be more surprises like Darmian, the papers link us to everyone but more often than not we end up with somebody completely off the radar.
That's bcos LVG himself is conpletely off the radar. Depay and Darmian are decent enough but hardly a statement of intent. Btw anyone talking about striker concerns needs to realise we've got rid of 3 under LVG. RvP, Falcao and Welbeck.
