Well according to the press the Alcantara deal may have hit the buffers. He returned back to Barca training and now Bayern are supposedly interested. Does anyone else think that we have been used to bump up his wages and he will just stay at Barca?, After the Villa deal to A.Madrid the wage bill is definitely healthier to offer him the bigger pay he wants. Just like Higuain this may turn out to be just complete bollocks! Either sign or don't I can't be arsed with the bullish¡t. Got a feeling we are going to be left behind in this window, The rumours where, Strootman was written as a cert months ago, Garay was all but done, Alcantara even agreed wages, but later today we travel for preseason with no new signings. I'm not including Zaha because that was the season gone. I can't help but feel a bit cheated.
Well this issue with Thiago seems to be playing time. He'll sit on the bench if even makes it in the match day squad at Bayern or Barca. But will most likely be first choice at United. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd make more money at United than he would at Barca/Bayern. Maybe Thiago is unsure of leaving Barcelona, the city, and is just weighing his options up. Last I heard Strootman had decided to stay at PSV another season, but I'm sure if the club actually made an offer we'd be able to sign him. I still think we should sign Michael Bradley of AS Roma.
Glass half full blah, blah, blah........ Seems when I say it I'm being pessimisitc but it's ok for you then Shwan ?
hahaha keep on imagining you sick obsessed .. i looked to both halves of a glass .. i never said it is a done deal or is off .. the deal is wide open and many things can happen in the process.. this is why i told KingEric20 it is a half empty/full glass .. dose that look to you like a certainty !!? you sick idiot PS. if your life is boring, you shouldn't fill it by being obsessed with certain people, bcz that is just sick and sad .. i feel sorry for you fella .. hope your life get better soon well i was open minded for all possibilities looking for both halves of a glass.. i was pointing our simply that you were pessimistic .. is too soon even now to say the deal is OFF or ON .. this is why i said it is half full glass
Moyes update on UTD transfer activities so far http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/220225.html
Probably more to do with the board than Moyes. He'll ID the players and let the bosses chase them down.
Getting in players sooner is always better but we are still only 10 days into a 2 month transfer window, no time to panic.
100% agree, the problem is that the longer it goes, others club may hijack the deal just like it happened with Lucas Moura last season and possibly now with Alcantara
Yip he certainly has turned down Real Madrid, but unfortunately Us aswell. According to Breaking News circling out of Germany he has agreed to sign for Bayrrn Munich. If it turns out to be true then once again we have been used to bump his wages and force the move, Pep may have been a deciding factor. Not sure where that leaves us in the midfield market unless it was all paper talk????
raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein Pep: "I want Thiago Alcantara. Have asked (Bayern to get him) Don't know what will happen". raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein "I know him very well. I talked to Rummenigge and Sammer about him, we will wait and then see" raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein Pep: "Thiago is the only player I want, that's what I told them" raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein Pep: "It'll be him or no one" raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein "Don't think (adding another midfielder) will be a problem. I spoke to club about my concept and told them why I want Thiago Alcantara" raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein "Javier Martinez can play at CB, he played very well there with Athletico" raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein "I give my opinion, but I listen to the board. If they say no, that's ok."
