I think Pulis will keep WBA up so it makes our job just a little harder but in saying that, changing Harry now would have to have a negative impact on the club.
I think the players have finally bonded as best as they will and having Harry as a stable figure is important, especially at present.

Redknapp is just about doing what we need him to do so stick.

I think the first half of the season fell better than the second half and so we're not exactly ahead in my view so I can't say that I want him here for the rest of the season.

If we start dropping back then we might need that fresh impetus of a new man.

Now is not that time though.

I believe many teams in the past have enjoyed better than expected seasons partly because the fixture list fell in their favour such that early 'easier' games earned them points and confidence. Consequently they entered the second half of the season against tougher sides able to play without the sort of pressure befalling teams that struggled in the early months.

The QPR fixture list this season, however, is interesting. I don't think I've ever seen one where the home fixtures are apparently more weighted in favour of 'winnable' matches, whereas the 'aways' are biased in favour of the tougher sides - at least not to this extent. Does this mean our league position is more favourable because of good home form, or less favourable due to difficult away fixtures? Can it be possible that we have a Dr Jekyll home team exhibiting top-half form and a Mr Hyde away team exhibiting relegation form? Will this possibly persist for the remaining months of 2014/15?

It'll be fascinating to find out.

If we don't have a win by the time the Hull match is over at the end of feb, I'm thinking that might be Harry done for.

No. I get pissed off, angry and disappointed with Mrs Uber at times, but I'm not ready to change her either.

Voted Laudrup but that will never happen. Would have bitten your hand off for Pulis, but looks like we're stuck with Harold now.

Im really not sure who Id like but after today he hasnt got a clue knowing full well he played players who he knew were knackered. Id rather he played the under 21s but heres a thought who would rather have Dyche, Pulis, Pearson, Bruce and even Pardew managing our group of players?!!! I know I would because they would get more out of them..................................

Dyche doesn't even have a proper voice.

He has yet to complete one season in the PL; a season that is likely to end in relegation. For all we know he got lucky with his partially-inherited Burnley blend. He could be the latest in a line of one hit wonders that included McClaren, Aidy Boothroyd, Warnock and that perma-tanned knob who used to manage Hull.

Much as I hate the revolving doors of football management, I don't agree with automatically giving him the full season just because of last year. The only time that kind of guarantee should happen is if there is a definite mandate to build for the future. Given that, of our entire squad, only Austin and YSY of the under 30s have made any on-field progress since they've been at the club (and the rest have regressed rather than even just stagnating) then I'd say that we aren't in a building phase.

That means the mandate is consolidation or survival. Therefore Redknapp's position should be dependent on our immediate prospects of survival.

At the moment, in 16th place, I reckon there's no immediate threat although there are some very big, very grey clouds hovering around. Therefore, I still say he stays but I think that we've got to improve significantly just to keep the 16th / 17th position because I know if I was choosing, I'd want all my most winnable games to be at home and we've used most of those up.

Stick but the bumbling fool is on a knife-edge and should be reviewed after each game.

Let's face it, I don't think we've had a manager that's received the fans' consensus since Gerry Francis the first time around. Casting my failing mind back these last ten years and there's been dislike and criticism of everybody including Ollie and Warnock, both of whom also won promotion for our team but have not had reputations that have stood the test of time. Nobody wants them back.

Other than LDC I can't think of another manager that I had a certain fondness for.
