Regardless of who is in charge come August. If we can keep a decent percentage of today's squad together we must be in with amshoul
If .. and it's a massive IF .. MS does stay (personally think he's on his bike out of here) I sincerely hope he ditches the whole zonal marking thing at set pieces.. been shown over the time he has been here that it just doesn't work .. I would be happy to see him stay .. failing that I wonder if Huddersfield fail at Wembley whether we could entice Wagner

In a nutshell >Marco< tried to patch up a paper thin squad and taught them to play pretty one touch possession football, knock it about all day but never had the time, money or real quality needed to make it work properly.

Thoughts?

basically, you should use the players that you have, apply your managerial skills to them.
reminds me in a way of SB, square pegs - round holes.
MS is sticking with his zonal marking, even tho it has no chance of working with our **** players.

I know it has been mentioned on a thread somewhere but Mike White, Curtis Woodhouse and Ashbee seem to be hinting at bad times ahead without actually giving out any clues. Anyone heard any rumours. I honestly hoped Ehab would have learnt his lesson and I was starting to believe the "we will rebuild" stuff but now I'm not so sure.

I was in the Upper west today,There was a line of half a dozen Arab looking gentlemen in smart, expensive suits looking on. All got up and left with a couple of minutes to go. They didn't look like your average football fans......Wonder if they could be the cavalry coming to our aid. Gawd I hope so.. That or they were something to do with THFC.

Aren't Spurs seen as a club closely connected with the Jewish community? Perhaps a 'jolly' connected with the Allam's main business? Not that it was very jolly mind... :emoticon-0101-sadsm

It’s highly likely that the times ahead are going to be tough – very tough. We’ve been relegated and have about 10 viable players for next season.

But, to look at the source of your fears, how discerning are Ash and CW? I can’t imagine that Ashbee and CW are privy to the Allam’s plans for the new season. How many times have we heard supposedly bona fide gossip from the snooker halls to the taxi car that is utter ****e?

As for Mike White, what credibility does he have? Granted I’ve not heard RH for ages, but the last inside info I heard from him was that Snodgrass’ career was finished.

Despite not listening for a good while, I think it’s fair to say that since Burns returned to the station, RH has been awash with negative hyperbole toward City – ‘happy’ to be fatalistic at every turn but rarely root this troubled analysis to prompt burning questions of the regime’s past and present manoeuvres.

RH is car crash at the best of times. Burnsy used to be a decent commentator but he's getting poorer by the game.

I'm all for marco staying because I don't know the alternatives. Up until the Sunderland we'd played some decent stuff, marco had started to change the mentality and I thought we were looking positive.
However after watching the Sunderland, palace and Spurs games we've gone backwards, Sunderland and palace were must win games we created jack ****. It was like watching a bruce team, pass to the halfway line then have absolutely no idea/creativity. I'd love marco to stay but when the pressure was on I'm now left with a couple of doubts about him

We created loads of chances against Sunderland and either messed up or their keeper made a great save . Today we were bad and deserved the heavy defeat , last week too .If we can play decent stuff under Marco in the PL then we can do it in the Championship .

It all went tits up when Markovic went off (64th minute v Sunderland 0-0). Since then we've not had the pace and guile to get at teams. You could see the difference Grosicki's pace made today at the start of the second half. But you need more than one option or it quickly becomes very predictable and easy to counter.

Woodhouse seems to be intent on trolling City fans every chance he gets, for whatever reason. I know when the Allams appealed for the name change the second time around he tweeted out that it was going to be approved an hour or so before it was rejected again.

The same people thought we'd never sack Phelan, and sign anyone in Jan. Not that I agree with what Eknob has done, the fact that two ex players are privy to what he's up to is absolute rubbish, especially two who have called out Allam for the way he treated Bridlington Town, I am suprised their let anywhere near the place. As for Mike White, it's his job to sh*t stir just like that pillock does on Talksport at 4pm.

Also check the time of the tweet. Just after the game had finished when most City fans are baying for rumours on Twitter. Just sh*t stirring.
