From the HDM: It is believed it was the 46-year-old's impressive knowledge of the English game that impressed the Allam family, who have previously promised to back the future manager in the transfer market. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...w-head-coach/story-30379033-detail/story.html
Tbh if the Allams do want to sell and get maximum profit from the club they need to be in the Premier League.. That is going to need decent investment in the squad be it by permanent or loan signings .. kind of excited to see how the new manager pulls it all together
Yes! And then.. The Slut increases our profile in Russia leading to an Abromovich style investor taking over! It's going to happen right? Right?
I am so glad I left mine at home. I ended up in West Bulls instead of the temporary steel container polling booth. I put my X against Castemaine
The cynic in me wonders what will happen if the Slutsky era doesn't go as planned, and the Allams try to get rid of him. And then Slutsky gets his "friend" involved. The boy blunder will be cacking into his Y fronts.
Totally agree. There are some very interesting positive implications in this appointment. In particular his close personal friendship with Abramovitch, as indicated by the fact that he has been his house guest in London for the past six months, during which he has been studying English and analyzing the English game, certainly opens up the possibility of close cooperation with Chelsea on loan players and direct Russian investment in Hull City. I am sure this possibilty, and behind the scenes discussions between the Allams and Abramovitch representatives, was a key factor behind Slutskys appointment. The next few weeks could be very surprising in terms of which players we are able to keep and exciting young prospects we are able to bring in on loan.
