That's very true. But you're probably looking at a new signing nearly every day for his hope to be true.
For some reason i think we may actually win the league this time,he is very serious about what he wants to do he has done so much work coming into the club more than i thought might be done in his quest to succeed. I think the 16/1 for us to win the league is a piss take,so i will do Arsenal at 14/1 with us in a double then maybe a few other prem teams like chelsea and man city along with us. Think this season at that price we could all earn if he succeeds.
Two of those probably wont be playing til xmas (Meyler/ Mason). Clucas/ Thudd unlikely to be here (possibly others?). Bowen is still a kid.....
There's a chance they could all go, but until they do they're ours and form the core of the squad, which is what you asked. You can't really work in hypotheticals here because it renders the whole thing moot. Even if all the players I mentioned were gone by July 3rd, do you honestly think we wouldn't replace them before training gets underway? Last season was undermined by poor recruitment, but MS outlined this before he left and with it being a driving force in our relegation I can't see it happening again.
Relying on loanees in January was a massive risk for this very reason. The risk didn't work. I think you do realise how important a core is, and we aren't going to have one. In a tough Championship next season, we have no chance of promotion. I am hoping we can sustain ourselves mid table/ ok poss play offs and allow some kids to come through/ some new signings to become the future 'core'
I am not overly worried about our squad yet........ We have a few more going to go yeah probably Robertson, Grosiski, Huddlestone possibly Jakupovic we will see..... maybe others.... A few injuries, (is meyler out until xmas i didnt realise that??) Mason and Moses..... We still have 2 decent keepers at this level, Dawson, chuck in Clucas Hendrickson Elmo Evandro Hernandez Diamande theres still Will Keane, James Weir and chuck in youngsters like Bowen, Clackstone, Olley, Luer, Mannion its not too bad. Wait to see what happens come the end off the transfer window it sounds like it will be very different this time around.....

No I didn't say it's a promotion squad I was saying I am not worried about it yet. It's mid June not the end of August and we have some players that we can add to to come up with something half decent
I think henrikssen is a bit of a forgotten man at the moment and could be quality in the championship.
Minimum must be 10 players. Any number less than that means they only have part of a leg, or a fraction of a brain, or some other impediment.
