Tom Ince really isn't that good, but at least you're not paying £15m for Wilfried Zaha.

 

He was once hailed as the future of Inter by Benitez, he hasn't kicked on but he's still young. A versatile forward thinking player who at 20, has already played in CL and at the top end of Serie A.

His best spell was at Espanyol, not surprising seeing as Inter play boring defensive football which would of never suited Coutinho, but in a fluid interchanging passing team he could thrive and fulfill his potential.

Inter fans are gutted that he's coming over to us, we're signing potential but it's also an absolute steal.

Man U only paid 10 mill, the rest is based on appearences, success for the club and player so not to bad really. Though I think 8 mill is a steal for Liverpool the only thing is will he make it in the cut and thrust of PL, Liverpool have too many similar players like this tricky, slight players but no one to give them a bit of steel when the going gets tough.

 

You can apply the exact same statement to Zaha! Plus, yes it is £10m with additions but in reality, those competition based additions will be met considering they win bloody everything

 

Mata, Cazorla, Silva.. All lightweight, you don't need to be big and bulky if you have a good footballing brain and you know where the space is and when to move in to it. And frankly, we don't have enough of these players in our squad.

 

Yes, teams have more 'lightweight' players nowadays but its not generally a team full of them. Mata has Ramires and Mikel (). Cazorla has Wilshire and Diaby. Silva has Toure, Barry and Javi Garcia. They all have someone behind them that is willing to put a foot in, to stand up and be counted. We have Lucas and Gerrard to do it
