Pardew at the time of this thread was getting abused by the Mugs none stop. Fans wanting to get beat to get him and your class owner out.<ok> (Lets ignore that though. As it makes this thread more valid from a Skunk point of view.)

A Mug from the darkside having the nerve to come here and call US arrogant!
The majority of the neutral fans in the Prem think you lot are deluded AND arrogant. (And now lucky.)<ok>
The only ones mentioning Europe are you and your muckers. <ok>

When I employed anyone I didn't know personally, I used to go and travel to see examples of their previous work.
Geordie, Smoggy, Mackem, didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was the end product.

If some one produces quality work on previous occasions, the odds are they will do so again.
MON has produced quality previously, so of course I am confident he can do so with the backing of our great club. :)

That's a bit of a lie but I'll let you off. I seem to remember another North East based team getting excited about Europe last season too, and they weren't doing as well as we are :emoticon-0110-tongu.

Ah, but I'm defending myself Dave, no mention of Europe crossed my lips or keyboard. <ok>
TBF the only ones mentioning Europe in this thread were Mags so not even a little lie?

Oops I may be lying I think when someone mentioned Europe a long time ago it seems now, I said I hope not, as we don't have the strength in depth to cope.

    PS.
Just as well I didn't mention Norwich being 1 up awhile back. :p

Should I risk mentioning Norwich being 3 - 1 up?
Still time for the ref to level it up. :p

Under the previous incumbent I may have been worried.
With our new manager it doesn't even phase me at present. <ok>

Should I mention Goslings red card? :p

There's no doubting the lad knows where the goal is.

Odd how we were linked with him first and yet Bruce let him go to you lot! (The grassy knoll hmmmm?)

Not sure he would've gone to Sunderland as I think West Ham accused you's of 'tapping up'. Probably bollocks as nowt came of it! <ok>

Can't expect much more when playing with four right backs, all of whom are crap in the air against a team who are very good in the air. Four goals, three headers!

I think that was your lot's stumbling block at Norwich if I remember rightly. They are fantastic in the air, but if we'd had Taylor and Colo, things could've been different I think as they would've matched them fairly well.

Fair result today overall. I'm glad we've already got 26 points, because if we play like that we won't get many more.
