What is our best formation? These are the formations we have tried this term! 4-1-4-1 3-3-3-1 4-2-3-1 4-4-1-1 3-4-3
If we get more than 2 points from next four games i will be surprised. Cooper and kalvin both out is bad for us. I do not believe the fees we are supposedly forking out.
The £100m wage bill is total bollox and here are 3 of the higher ones where a couple still have Rodrigo on £100k per week whereas a couple of Rodrigo at £54k per week and Raphinha on £63k per week. Leeds ar 19th out of 20 in the wages league. Remember lots of players got a huge bonus for promotion and some nobbers just decided to use thatone off wage to inflate reality https://www.spotrac.com/epl/leeds-united-fc/payroll/ https://www.capology.com/club/leeds/salaries/ https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/premier-league-wage-bills-revealed-22088052
If Bielsa plays players in there correct places then we shall give teams a game. Forshaw and Struijk in DM Cresswell in for Cooper, more than adequate. Firpo stand up and be counted at LB If Bamford is injured then a big fck off fine
Poor old Kalvin Phillips. He may be an England International, but we are expected to believe he's on £4,500 a week?
It is, but frightening for me because it feels a bit like déjà vu but I really hope that nothing materialises in that way. Whilst I am not disputing the talent we have in our squad, but giving such high wages to some of the players and then others are so far down the list on lower amounts, all that does in my opinion is cause unrest. It should be one basic amount and then bonuses for wins, scoring goals etc like we used to have.
I would say that is an older version as Kalvin has definitely had a new contract since and looking for another one.
It's dated the 21/22 season. I remember Bielsa awarding Dallas, Ayling and Cooper bumper new contracts just prior to promotion, far, far more than stated in the documents
Although our audited accounts published for the 2019/2020 season when we were in the Championship, shows that we had an annual wage bill of £70 mil (compared to £41mil the previous season), so a current wage bill of £100m probably wouldn't be too far off. Accounts published 3rd April 2021 for period ending July 2020 https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06233875/filing-history
It's completely and utterly absurd. Leeds accounts 19/20 season show our wage bill was 78m (our promotion winning season). How can it have dropped 60 MILLION
