Morning all. My guess with Pontus is that there is truth in the link to Fulham and possibly staying off the Oz trip to finalise the deal. Disappointed if so as for me he is our best centre back.

Have to agree about Pablo Doc. I think he'll be rested against weaker teams (even that could be disastrous the way we play against so called weaker teams) and used against the bigger teams. I think he'll start more games than sitting on bench, he's too important a player, he thinks with his head and knows how to use his experience. I think Pablo will have No 10 to start off with, with Klich alongside him. Klich did miss Saiz after he left.

Providing we get a good price for Pontus and it's reinvested well, I don't mind him going. It seems to me that that he makes it all about him and get's caught out of position a little too easily. Can't understand at all if we let Halme go, think we should definitely keep Tom Pearce and Coyle as squad players, both can be good back up and Pearce can be more than that.
Afternoon everyone Is it only me who thinks that the Helder Costa loan bears similarity to Izzy Brown? Supposed to be the saviour who ripped the Championship apart when playing for Wolves/Udders. I think the key difference is that Bielsa is involved in this deal but I hope he can reproduce the form for us. It would also be great if he could bring the best out of Douglas. My worry is still our conversion rate. We created plenty of chances last year but just couldn't finish enough of them. Can't wait for it to start though
And it's a loan for a year but then converts to a permanent signing next summer regardless of what happens in terms of promotion for a fee approaching 15 million.
