While it would have been nice to hang onto Summerville, let's face it, we've all been waiting for this from the minute the final whistle blew at Wembley.

This summer should not be judged on who goes, we all pretty much knew who is/ was going. It should be judged on the incoming between now and the end of the window.

If they bring in Sara and Miller or Smodicz then we’ve not done badly. Anything else will be pretty underwhelming. Think it’ll be worse though because both those options will be the same as what we’ve sold them for. Annoying all this hasn’t been sorted out earlier. Rather it be Gnoto tbh.

He looks to have put on weight since last winter. He finished the season strongly in Germany after hitting the gym. Hopefully he has continued his strength work through the summer. He certainly has the ability to play at a decent level. It's a case of his physical condition as far as I'm concerned.

He was always going to leave. A player of that ability should not stagnate with us in the Championship. Did the fact he didn't start one friendly not ring any alarm bells that he possibly wasn't in Farkes plans?

The real question is who is going to replace him? Rak-Sakyi has not gone on the U.S tour with Palace. He refused as he wants to leave. He is a solid replacement.
