I accept that injuries are not his fault but he has mugged the club off for a lot of wages. Was ridiculous that we didn’t renew on a “pay as you play” contract and Kinnear / Orta should be questioned as to why that wasn’t the case.
If so we mugged ourselves - can’t blame him. It was almost guaranteed after a couple of performances and the usual ‘it’s like signing a new player’ comments that he would get crocked before the ink dried on his contract extension. I actually keep forgetting he’s still here. Meanwhile, our cover for Adams/roca whilst losing at home to Fulham is a 20 year old converted striker.
Good point Milky. I thought he would just naturally migrate into one of the backroom jobs at the club, given the amount of interviews I seen with AF, where he said that Bielsa influenced him to considering moving into a coaching role when he retired from playing. I wonder if the club ever filled this position, as surely Adam would have extensive experience in respect of physiotherapy
With regard to Forshaw yes we have Greenwood and Gyabi think the preferred option is hound Archie Gray
The Crewe manager gives rave reviews and says the kids last night would compete in the Championship as a team? Great experience "Usually these games are for an U21s side to gain positive experience of playing against senior pros, but this was the other way around," said Morris. "We had a really young team, a couple made their debuts, and they put out the strongest U21s team I’ve ever seen fielded in this competition. It was full of players who have played at the top level and internationally, so the experience was there for us to have, and the outcome was positive. "If we’d have gone toe-to-toe with them and tried to play the football they played, we’d have got a resounding beating. Their team could probably compete in the low-end Championship, top-end League One. We defended magnificently and stuck to the plan.
He actually went for that interview but did his knee ligaments tripping through the door of the interview room.
I see the Jocks were breaking records in the Champions League last night. I'm sure Celtic will restore some pride for the pub league in tonight's game.
Charlie Cresswell starting in what looks a back 4 for Millwall tonight and Jamie Shackleton is on the bench. Might watch a bit to see how Cresswell does in what is a tough away match for them at Birmingham. Tyler Roberts out injured and must now be a doubt for the WC with Wales.
Now l know you will all be pleased to hear that Jurgen Klip Klop has been awarded the freedom of Liverpool Everything’s free in Liverpool, apart from, well you know what
