Unless there is an option to buy, I hope we don’t hammer the loans. We need to go up with a squad that we can keep together in the PL. Lessons to be learned, we couldn’t keep Ben White so we spent big on Llorente and Koch. As for not wanting some of the “targets” we are enquiring about, Ben White would not have been considered PL ready the season he joined us. This is the season we need to hold on to the likes of Joseph, Drameh, Summerville, Cresswell and a few others, sign some of these U21 we’re interested in and they need to be coached well and reach their maximum potential this season ready for next in the PL As for Liverpool reserve players, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and a few other top teams can field a reserve team that regularly reaches cup quarter finals, not good enough for Liverpools first team doesn’t mean they’re not any good
I do not believe we paid anything like the prices stated for the dross last season. There will be not many add ons as they have all done a runner. The fee being touted for Rutter from german journos is €28 yes euros mill of course and that will depend on clause after clause. We need to stop falling for the owners spin it's bull.
I might get one of those shirts on loan, and return it at the end of the season, a little bit worse for wear.
Agree. And we forget the likes of Klich, who’s still Leeds. Can’t remember if it was posted on here or I only saw it on Twitter but he’s becoming more of a cult hero after his reply to Max Wober’s tweet
It will sell though as it's a modern design and plenty will like it. Most on social media are loving it.
Must have been difficult to find players to go on this vid, given that our outgoings are like snow off a dyke. I think they used the kids as we know they're staying. What about Bamford, many will ask - but can you see him running through a forest without getting injured? Personally, I prefer the old days, when you only had a photie of the new strip. Think it's OTT to make a mini movie about it.
New kits ok but to be honest we've had that many different colours and designs for the away strip recently that sometimes it's hard to know it's us unless we're playing in white.
I agree. There was a time, playing away, that teams only swapped out what was necessary, i.e. the shirt when it clashed, or shorts, or socks, or a combi of them. Now the vultures realise that there's more cash to be had .....
We had a really loyal bunch last season https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/robin-koch-says-eintracht-frankfurt-27442061 another one who should have fooked off before now, or better still never arrived
I pointed out exactly what the players were after the Palace game when they refused to interact with any fans especially kids who foolishly idolised them. Was criticised for my comments as inaccurate even though I was stood watching their performance. If that's an example of the typical modern day football then good luck.
IMHO it’s what you get in the money grabbing Prem. You have more chance of a bit (I only say a bit) of loyalty in the lower divisions.
