Ben White would be the obvious choice but I have to say I am very torn between Tierny and Saka at Arsenal but will go with Tierny. Arsenal look so much better with him in the side.
They'll never sell Tierney, which is a great pity. Also plays CB for Arse & Scotland, so a Bielsa player! I'd rate him as one of the best LBs in the world, up there with Robertson. What a nice problem for the Scotland manager to have, eh?
Did you receive any kind of acknowledgment when you sent in your application? If not you could send a letter politely asking if your application was received and pointing out you’d have hated for it to have not reached them because you’re so well suited for the job
I've missed going to games home and away very much and have struggled a lot emotionally because of it. Following Leeds is my get away from everything and gives me time to regenerate. I've missed the camaraderie amongst our fan base too and can't wait for things to get back to normal next season.
So Conte leaves Juventus and Zidane leaves Real Madrid on the same day and both because they wanted money to challenge for titles again. Club owners say no money and you need to sell players and only bring in free transfers. Allegri now wanted by both clubs but hes also talking to AC Milan. Pipe and slippers and popcorn for this now as what happens at these clubs plus Barcelona who also have no money and using free transfers. Lots of players going to be sold cheap
Yes i recieved acknowledgment that my application had been recieved. I think I should give a bit more info. I was made redundant from my job of 24 years, where I had been distribution manager for 15, in October. Three months ago I was contacted by their key account manager. He is a friend of mine for 20+ years, we play football & golf together reguarly and other social things. After a brief catch up he started talking about how busy he was and that he was short staffed in his department. He was sure that they would be advertising soon. This was always the next step I saw for myself in the company. We talked about how perfect I am for the role. We said goodbye with him telling me to keep an eye out for the job advert. Three weeks ago the job was advertised. My mate called me that day to make sure I had seen it. My application went in and my old HR manager acknowledged it and let me know it would be my mates boss who would be organising interviews and then my mate would actually be doing the interviews. I have spoken to my mate a few times since and he is frustrated by the lack of movement because he is really short staffed in his department. I would take next to no training in the role. He wants me. As far as he is aware there has not been a lot of interest in the role. I have two major concerns despite my mates best efforts. 1- They have just taken the role down from total jobs where it was initally advertised and readvertised on Indeed. Is this normal procedure if they have had not had enough interest? (They have been advertising for the same role in their Chelmsford depot for four months with no interest) 2- I have never met my mates boss who is the first hurdle so she has no pre determined opinions on me. This mens when looking for references she has gone back to my od boss and hr manager. Now I do not believe I was bad at my job and was not unpopular amonst my peers or superiors. However I was never one for playing politics. I never kissed ass, I never played favourites. I got on by being very good at my job, better than most in fact if I do say so myself. Becasue of my lack of politicing I honestly have no idea how these key people will talk of me. My mate is going to try and talk to his boss today but she oversees 15 sites nationwide.
