Remember that Bielsa preferred Forshaw to Philips before his injuries. If he can regain his form he offers a driving midfielder that can also defend. I think he could even play as 10. He's cover for Philips, Dallas and Klich. Fingers crossed.
My memory of Forshaw was that he was pretty poor in DM role, often getting caught in possession and much better playing more advanced. Then again seeing that we were all in our teens the last time he played a league game my mind maybe playing tricks on me
