My view on Orta is that he’s got better the more time he’s spent here. I don’t mean the obvious fact we have more money so can buy better players.

I thought he was a disaster in year one. His chairman knew nothing about football so he was driving the strategy, and although Cellino had left the academy in a mess, the plan to address that straight away in the manner they did plus bulk buying of journeymen near crippled us, as did cheapskating on choice of coaches.

Since then - he was instrumental in getting bielsa even though he knew what that meant for the influence of his own role… and over time appears to have got better at finding players with the attributes to succeed in English football.

So. I think his recent record in the market is much improved (notwithstanding the marsch influence on this summer’s signings)

Right now he’d be a loss in my opinion.

Does he have a statue? Wilko never got the training ground named after him.

Scotland won me 80 euro in my accy yesterday.<party> But I was looking at their first goal by that dirty horrible **** of a player mc ginn and he definitely caught the player in the lead up to the goal. Now VAR checked it and deemed it ok. But I can't help thinking that it was similar to Sinisterra touching the Brentford player to give the peno away, but of course VAR made the REF look at it and he of course gave it.<ok>

    Statement.

The Premier League has today released the below statement:

At a Premier League Shareholders’ Meeting today, clubs unanimously agreed to introduce minimum-length bans for supporters who take part in anti-social and criminal behaviours at League stadiums.

Fans caught carrying or activating pyrotechnics or smoke bombs, or entering the pitch without permission, will receive an automatic club ban with a minimum term of one year.

These bans could also be extended to accompanying parents or guardians of children who take part in such activities.

This policy is effective immediately and the ban is applicable to both home and away matches

Now wasn't this already in place and if so why weren't the scousers done. ****ing farcical.:) Next the banning of top less fans, no waving scarves or standing or clapping or chanting etc etc<grr>
