So the shirt is the one that was leaked. Since the players have worn it its grown a little on me. but, the collar is just horrific. why would you want a grandad style button top on a football shirt.
Seems that Man City have signed one of our kids from the U15s.there was a big shout when he joined Leeds back in 2018 as an 11yo and he has been outstanding for Leeds. Brooklyn Nfoungeo will have obviously made a few quid for the club. He actually came from Wortley Juniors, the same place Kalvin Phillips went to school. Good luck young fella as Pep has an eye
As long as it’s a predominantly white kit with a little bit of yellow and blue trim, and as long as we continue to play the most exciting style of football in the country, I couldn’t give a **** what the collar is like.
Gave TA a call today. They're as clueless as we are. What I did learn (hope I remember this the right way round) is that 3 is the max number of u23 games to be played at TA. Proper stadiums to be used for the others, & not necessarily ER! No fixture list out for any of the kids yet, but u18s expected to continue on Saturday mornings. In case anyone is interested for future use, the TA direct phone number is 01937 884400
Good spot mate Apparently Man Utd use Carrington for 3 and usually use Gig Lane Bury. Wonder if we’ll use York City’s ground like we did for the FA Youth cup semi final last season? We have just bought a keeper from Bradford City and had 2 players out on loan at Bradford?
York have moved grounds now. They're on the far away side of York now, which is a pain in the arse to get to. Wondering about Guisley or Tadcaster.
What does stadium entail literally? tiered seats around a sports area or running track. Wonder how many seats and stands around a pitch is acceptable?
thanks Jock There will definitely be some games at ER as the membership allows free entry to those .. glad it's only 3 at TA
TA for me - only a 3 mile walk if you're Bielsa. A 5 minute car ride if you're me. Not sure if you're aware, but up until now, games at ER might be free - but you've still got to get a ticket!! Yup, found out the hard way. Turned up at the last minute (as usual), flashed my s/t at the turnstile & got told to join the bloody big queue for a ticket. It only happened to me once, but you still see queues of the uninformed most matches. So make sure you apply well before the match.
Ok but Im on about the fashion style meaning not meaning its for grandads so I was not trying to offend anyone. actually when i looked up Grandad style it's actually a round neck so Im talking complete bollllucks lol. was just thinking of the buttons which reminded me of something like a longjohn PJ top anyway it's just a personal point of view. since Ive seen it again its growing on me but I'm just not a button fan on football shirts. yes its doesn't matter what they wear it could be pink with yellow ribbons. but, just on a selling point of view it has a lot of divided opinions. So all the Grandads out there was not aimed at you lol.
I'm a young grandad and you're right about buttons on a jersey. I quite like it(not the buttons), not sure about the stripes on the shoulders though, looks a bit like a polo shirt. No offence taken.
I agree. If I wanted a polo shirt, I'd buy a fcukin' polo shirt. This is supposed to be a football shirt for the best team in the world. Designers should take note.
