Stupid move to announce this now, if true, if we’re going to rely on him for the last two games. Still, we offer Forshaw an extension, he has wracked up nearly 11 minutes of game time this season
Who the **** is stupid enough to buy Koch and Meslier? See if we can offload Llorente, Firpo and Struijk at the same time. I won't be concerned one little bit if any of the current squad leave. We're at the bottom for a reason. They're all of the '**** ****' variety I'm afraid. Get em all out.
Oh...and by the way...Man City are tearing Real Madrid a new arsehole. They might be the best club side I've ever seen to be fair. They should be 6 up at half time.
Middlesbrough v Coventry must be an exciting watch. One and a half games played, no goals, Coventry zero shots on target and Middlesbrough 3
Was in my local with a lot or real fans tonight, My parting shot was, you must be really ****, we only lost 2-1 to city. Feckers were not amused.
I think we can all slag our players off and I constantly dothat, however I have a feeling a lot of our players are given roles they have never done before and if like McKennie for example you are used to playing as an AM but asked to play as a DM he would need a partner. When he was alongside Adams it worked but with Rica not a prayer. Under Sam he gets more freedom in a slightly different role. Arsenal are interested, obviously Brighton want him and other clubs too. We haven’t seen the best of him. Marsch, Skoobs then Gracia and now Sam all within 16 games isnt easy
Report on how Lewis Bate did out on loan: LEWIS BATE The central midfielder was the first loanee to join the club, back in early August. He arrived having joined Leeds for a seven-figure fee from Chelsea the previous summer. Neat and tidy on the ball from the beginning, Bate’s influence in the team picked up during the last couple of months in 2022, before carrying that on into the new year as he formed a solid combination in the middle of the park with Cameron Brannagan and Marcus McGuane. He scored his only goal in 35 appearances when he struck from outside the box to earn the U’s a 1-1 draw at MK Dons. While he was clever in possession and had a good range of passing, a lack of end product will surely be a sticking point for the 20-year-old. A broken bone in his hand cut short his loan spell in March.
