Everytime I look at Leeds I ask why Bamford is preffered over Rodrigo. The data published above has Rodrigo in the same category as Haaland on chances to goal ratio. Rodrigo is by far our best striker whilst Bamford is not fit. Bamford should be playing in the 23s to get himself fit. We are mid table for creating chances, but only Rodrigo seems able to score. Aaronsons creativity is very good and he could have had a couple more goals, but also Rodrigo is 4th on our creativity stats so why not use him until Bamford is sorted, Harrison, Aaronson, Roca and Rodrigo best at creating chances. Its been a frustrating few weeks for me

It's not really a valid sample size to compare Rod to Haaland doc. This year Rod has a good goals to xg ratio but its only 4 goals - to Haalands 15 goals. The figures show similar amount of shots which shows that Rod tries his luck from distance and chances his arm a bit... probably because he doesn't get quite the quality of service that Haaland gets.

That said... to be fair to Rod he does have a decent goals to xg record in his time here... certainly better than Paddy's. The question is... does rod hold the ball up as well? Does he make the runs in behind to stretch defences that Paddy does... does he lead the press as well as paddy does? He's a totally different player - has some nice touches and makes some good passes - and he is a good finisher... when he's in the right place to.

Appreciate you're comparing him to a not match fit paddy. But, regardless i do think it's a reasonable debate whether Rod's start to the season earned him the right to start as 9, whether Paddy is fit or not.

Our local news station showed it at one today. Whats next ban The black eye peas song with KKK in it. It's an over reaction again because we live in a culture where everyone looks to be offended.and of course those shower of twats on sky sports jumped all over it. And before any snowflake gets their hemp underwear in a twist, I'm not a republican, or an ira supporter.<ok>

Spot on shaks. I also am neither Shaks. Let me point out that's a disgusting piece of editing too. If anyone wants Ill pop the whole song up so you can have an objective listen. Its called Celtic symphony by the Wolfe Tones and is a Celtic song. Ive sung it in a football environment while other stuff get sung back by the opposition. Do I get my knickers in a twist, no. The main objectors to this are the rugby union types and others who have never attended a football match and know nothing about banter between football supporters

Milky I highlighted the chances created by Rodrigo too which we never get from Paddy. My argument is Paddy isnt fit and Marsch knows that, but is desperate to play him even unfit. Rodrigo has earned his chance and Paddy even on top form has never been a striker who scores 1 in 4 chances its usually 6 or 7 so if Marsch wants to increase his chances of scoring more goals earlier then he needs to play his best striker ( at this point in time) especially if he can also create chances for others too. Im not sure Marsch knows what his best team is yet :emoticon-0148-yes:
