We may be in for some shocks in the squad soon. Cresswell still in sarf Larndern but pushing to come home. Club want him back and have offers on the table, Sunderland may even want to buy him. We may get to see the clubs actual CB policy instead of the vague “you can never have too many CBs”. Hjelde wanted by Rotherham amongst others. There’s a feeling that movement on keepers is about to happen and we don’t know who but could Meslier be about to move? Who is the Belgium kid going to replace? DVH broke his neck but back playing, Robles only contracted to summer, Special K? Firpo may be off, Harrison may be off too…

You are correct Rich, I believe his agent was in Leeds on Monday and Orta has flown to Germany today.

I mentioned last week that Everton had recalled their striker from Sunderland and he was a regular starter and got 10 goals. I suggested Joffy would be a sound replacement there and would be playing with Jack Clark and Niall Huggins. Our loans coach is a former Sunderland coach so it would make sense. Well Sunderland have officially come in for Gelhardt and so too has Wigan, Swansea and there’s still time for WBA and Corberan?

The Belgium keeper has now joined into the Leeds Utd Instagram guys?

Apparently Orta is I'm Germany talking to Hoffenheim, with regard to reducing the fee and has been successful

I’ve seen an initial fee as low as £17m and as high as £45m I think some are adding an assumed contract on to the fee, others every bonus possible. A fee of under £17m sounds far more realistic even if it had £20m of add ons and no doubt some of those add ons would never be triggered. When and if he signs, it will be interesting to see if the club publishes a price

I don't give a flying f**k once he's the real deal. I want to see a decent number of wins between Friday and end of season. Don't care about tactics, who's on the field, what they cost or what they are earning. The new owners can fret about all that

Maybe now we will not play three wingers at once. Gnonto Summerville and Aaronson is not a good balance.

I'd imagine a bulk of the fee will be add ons, appearances etc with a % of a sell on. Doubt we'll get to know though

Think orta might have messed up. Heads off and makes one of his famous reduced offer in the hope it’ll be rejected and we can do the usual we tried statement. Guess what they’ve accepted the lower offer. I’d imagine there’s some scrambling going on in rads piggy bank at present

Do you think Orta went back when he realised the lad is not a striker.

But you do care, we'd never hear the last of it if the board refused to sign anyone in January and you do like to remind us that Radz had a net spend of zero in the summer. The fee will be important to know because if the season goes tits up you will want to blame Radz for not spending, at least I can rest more comfortable bragging about how much Jesse the clueless was backed and how much he spunked on players ;) <ok>

    Oh and I will <ok>

I know this was said in jest but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we find an excuse not to sign him, who was the guy we tried to sign and he failed a medical only to sign for someone else a week later and they all claimed his medical showed nothing wrong..

Michael cuisance, who joined Marseilles on loan and played 23 games in 2 years. Now plays in Series B in Italy, so probably a good choice not to sign him

Thank you, that was him, a very strange one as we seemed to have the money to sign him then when we didn't we seemed to be a little tight on funds

We’d have extended his contract so he could keep Forshaw company, I hear he’s sick to death of talking to Bamford <ok>

Probably Hanford keeps asking him if he would like to learn how to fiddle on his violin, or if he would like to have a pluck on his guitar
