I did & I am. Reason being that my back has seized so much now that I can't put on socks. Last sock on was pre-covid. Looks really silly with a kilt & no socks.

Lots in common with Forshaw then mate. Imagine the U23s had to take bis kit off and shower him after his first 90mins for 2 years, and your well made point about him going straight into the premier league was touched on slightly…. Its been 4 years since he last played in the prem.

Have a good break mate and enjoy

Maybe that explains all the injuries… he enjoys the ‘first game back’ post match routine.

Looks like the porn kings of WHU have won the lottery again, seeing how they made a bomb selling their ground and getting a tax payer funded new one saving them millions each year and now this
“Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky has completed his purchase of a 27% stake in West Ham United.”
This guy also owns Sparta Prague. Wonder if he has shares in the Russian and Asian Porn web sites the porn kings own too

    Afternoon all

In regards to Forshaw maybe we’ve been so short of a proper central midfielder alongside Phillips for so long we just appreciate the obvious change in team form.

I love Bielsa we all do and in the Championship it’s great having a player who can play 2 different positions but the PL is different and why the best teams have proper cover for every position.

I’ll enjoy Forshaws form whilst I can but I can’t help but feel another breakdown is just around the corner.

The other problem I can see is Forshaw is another who’ll be 31 next season. The demands of being Bielsa fit doesn’t mean it’s okay to sit on the bench and being used sparingly.

Hats off to him though he’s surprised me with his form

Lots of truth in this post and I wonder if Bielsa is having a rethink about squad size as its really hurt the whole club this season so far. Academy results are not where they should be because we have schoolboys playing for the U18s, we have U18s playing for the U23s and we are having up to 5 U23s not playing games because sat on the first team bench. I love the fact ghat Cresswell Joffy Summerville and Drameh have all stepped up and proved they can do it in the Premier League, but its come at a massive cost for the 23s who are sliding down the tanle from being 2 points off the top. No wins in 6 is worst form in 4 seasons. So every part of the club has felt the impact of up to half the first team squad being out injured and as Ristac says we have not had a replacement for Phillips, we have not had a replacement for Ayling or Firpo, we were already missing a replacement for Pablo in the middle. Forshaw is a welcome addition and great to see him perform at the weekend but hes not what we’ve been missing as we needed Gallagher or a player like him who can create and play box to box scoring and assisting. Forshaw could well be a stand in for Phillips? But even usually rock steady players who have not been injured have been off the pace. Klich and Dallas were missing too in reality for whatever reason.

The better your players are the more will go into International squads. That means we are again gambling that all our players come back fit. Dallas, Cooper, Llorente, Rodrigo, Roberts, Greenwood, Kleasson, Drameh Bate, Allen, Kenneh, Dean, Meslier, DVDH, Summerville and lots more. So Bielsa needs to up the 18 to at least 21 real first team players

Right I have just seen a photo of Dominic Calvert-Lewin wearing a dress for the front cover of a gay mag. Football is fked and if I ever see one of our players wearing a dress I will go support Farsley Celtic. Pissed me off Bamford talking about climate change and we should do more for the planet instead of concentrating on scoring goals. When will players learn that fans want their clubs to succeed and dont give a toss about gay or LGBGT rights or child poverty or climate change, just do your fooking jobs lads

    Great commentator and presenter.

As I lived on the Isle of Man during the late 70's early 80's, my football education was provided by Jimmy Hill on MotD and Gerald Sinstadt on Kick Off Match (couldn't get Yorkshire TV, so had to rely upon Border TV showing the Granada version of the Big Match on Sunday afternoon's), which was religious watching, even more so when we were playing one of the North West clubs, as it gave me an opportunity to see highlights of a Leeds game

Looks like Gerrard will be announced as Villa new coach later today or tomoz. Compo being agreed with Rangers and Gerrard and his coaching team paperwork complete and waiting on signatures.

So for me we shouldn't worry about Villa, Watford, Norwich and New astle all with new managers. Nothing they can do until January but hopefully way too late to help. I expect us to finish above all of them :emoticon-0148-yes:
