No action against Mings Didn't Pontus get a six match ban for something similar ? (Nope it was Cooper)
This in my opinion is the FA protecting referees. It is not good enough for them to say it was seen by the match officials at the time so no action will be taken. Again the FA is a law unto itself.
I see Nantes are chasing £15m from Cardiff for the transfer of Sala. It seems they signed the player so do owe Nantes the cash but wonder if Cardiff managed to insure him in time or will Colin have to pay if it was a dodgy Paddy Kennedy Insurance company owned by Colin
Agreed. Player safety should be a much higher priority than a referee reputations. Referees are forever telling us that they don't have the advantage of slow-mo replays on the field of play, which is fair enough. However, here's an occasion where they can go back & re-evaluate a serious situation that must surely have been brought to their attention, using all available technology. If they can refelect & rescind a red after the end of a match, then surely they should be able to issue one?
Whether it's an insurance company or the club itself, there must be certainty before payout. i.e. a body. He is still on the missing list atm.
Nantes have demanded the first payment from Cardiff City for the purchase of Emiliano Sala, according to reports. Should Cardiff pay up?
Surely depends on whether Sala had signed contract which I’d assume he had. If so, Cardiff must pay. If he was on his way to sign then Cardiff wouldn’t have to pay anything
If all paperwork has been completed and signed then yes. However if reports are true and accurate then "Demanding payment and threatening court action" at this stage is a bit pre mature and in very bad taste.
Kingsbridge Police@DCPKingsbridge Emergency services are currently dealing with a single vehicle RTC on the A381 by the South Milton turn where a car has overturned. The driver stated he swerved to avoid an octopus. He is currently in custody on suspicion of drug driving.
Nah, we're into insurance company territory here. No payout until it's proved that he's dead. Remember Rginald Perrin!
Surely Nate’s are due the 5m from Cardiff whether he’s dead or not. Then up to Cardiff to make insurance claim when his body is revovered
Sounds logical, but surely if you purchase an asset, you must take possession of it before it is actually yours? Would you pay the pizza delivery boy if he turned up with his hand out & no pizza to be seen? Pretty sure it'll be a grey area that could be argued out in court for years. Not sure if it will though. A body will speed things up.
Would be the responsibility of the pizza supplier to get you’re pizza delivered certainly but not Nantes responsibility to deliver an ex player to Cardiff. Once contracts signed he’s Cardiff’s I’d imagine
