Hopefully they are too stupid to want him. Don’t think the money would deter them. But I’m not sure he would want to go, he’s an interesting sort of man.

Morning all from Limerick city. Would love to see Milner back as it would mean we’d been promoted. Would settle for another awful game Saturday if we pinch three points. Interesting how Boro are trying to do it the complete opposite way to us. Lowest goals conceded in all divisions and dull as dishwater. However just like last night , it’s about the three points and not how you get them. I’d take Adkins comment with a pinch of salt. We weren’t impressive last night let alone looking like one of the best he’s seen in years. He’s trying to buy himself time with fans and his bosses I suspect. Players showing the Toby NYE jersey to the fans at the end of the game was class and I’d say helped lift the little lads spirits

    Good afternoon Matt & everyone

Because of a lack of composure from Alioski & Douglas who both missed good chances yet again, second half should have been a much easier watch on my nerves

My god how much are we missing Roofe & Hernandez, easy meat when you know where net is !

Must be a slow news day when we’re debating whether one of our aging ex players MIGHT come back IF we’re promoted.

As for Bielsa to replace Mourinho? Irrespective of buy out clauses, and how much interest his early season success with us has generated... he’s not a fit for that type of club. He has a way of working, and it’s his way or the highway. He’s better suited to the underdog. He knows it, they know it.

For all we’d love it to be true, Man U aren’t getting relegated. I’m Sure plenty of premier league strugglers will be asking the question by January, especially when they’ve seen how quickly he’s turned things around here. However, he’s said himself you can’t do that in mid season... you don’t have 6 weeks to work on fitness and tactics whilst you’re playing matches.

If he’s unhappy here, then he’ll bugger off, if he’s being given the support he’s asked for, he won’t. It’s naive to say it’s not about the money, but I think he has a project and something to prove to himself, and that such things are important for him. Come summertime? Well that will depend on a lot of factors.

Bielsas method of working won’t work at any pl club. It’s all hard work and hard training. The pl players are only interested in a bit of jogging about in the mornings and off to their playstations at one o clock

We played a dangerous game Heidi, one worldie or a mistake at the back & it would have been a major disappointment

You could be right though about pacing ourselves though !

We looked in 2nd gear most of the night but I can’t see MB sending his side out to coast to save themselves for Saturday!

Yeh it’s only half what hadi sacko’s was, and we still managed to secure his services for two bags of crisps.... An overpayment as it transpired.

Don’t be too sure, money rules all,ask yourself the question what would you do, no sentiment in business and all that.

... yeh wakey, someone even accused him of rating lee camp (who let a soft one in last night). A bit of teasing is one thing, but that was a bridge too far. <laugh>

It was disappointing mb let him go. The guy’s meant to be a coaching god and to like a challenge... he’s achieved a lot in the game, but teaching sacko to square it? The crowning glory surely.

Maybe he felt turning Philips into a footballer was miracle enough?
