Mike I've stayed away from that simply because we also have staged payments on a lot of our recent signings, including those we have got rid of. I will however add the Rose sell on fee if Spurs ever sell him because that comes in one lump and should be £2m but the prat is still at Spuds?
One thing about all these sales. It makes little or no difference how much we’ve generated. When’s the last time sales have generated a war chest. Fans always expect it and it never happens. Just the way clubs are run these days. As I’ve said before far too much cash being soaked up by agents to move players around. I’d suspect that of the 20m approx recouped so far, probably 4m has gone to agents to shift them on and find clubs

It’s actually a tricky situation being a number 2 keeper. You don’t play but the club need you so can’t loan you out. Consequently there are keepers who make a career out of accepting being a number 2. However, green was unhappy at being told he was 2 to wiedwald. BPF isn’t happy being 2 to casilla. Could you blame either. So the choice is sit on the bench for Peanuts or sit in the bench for big money. From BPF’s perspective he’ll feel he has a fair fight at no 1, in a higher division for 10x the money. Not a tough call really. And if it’s as reserve then it’s a higher profile reserve. But he wants to play..... and so did green.
And that's the laughable bit. They could have played elsewhere. There would have been a queue to take them. But chose the money. Ironically after moaning about how important playing was. Clearly it wasn't.

Well you can label that at green who left on a free. For BPF it’s who the club agrees to sell him to. He just gets to say yes or no.
