Well just been announced that Ideguchi played for Japan in a friendly against Ghana which they lost 2-0 but our nip did well apparently. So he may yet still make the Japan full squad.

Leeds have told young Whyte that they will not be pursuing him. This makes sense because even though he has just been made Irish player of the year, scored 22 goals for Crusaders and is only a kid, we have a lot of kids better, so good luck to the kid and hope he doesnt come back to haunt us.

 

He will only come back to haunt us if he is crap at tarmacing the car parks when they get resurfaced.

Bad move bringing Bartly back imo, injury prone, hasn't made many appearances last season and won't be as good as he was last time he was here. He'll come for wages and retirement package.

 

I see Jack Marriot is favourite to come to Leeds even though Forest, Derby and more are chasing him, but they want £6.5m for him

So if you had a choice of Marriot whos a league 1 player and not yet proven in the Championship or Abel Hernandez a proven scorer who has scored 70goals in the last 3 seasons in the Championship and Prem. He was out for most of last season but came back and scored 8 in the last 10games.

For the Marriot money we could get Hernadez and oay him £42k per week for 3 years

 

Terry is too old now. Fulham attack made him look like a pensioner, one of the other three would be great (if injury free) and if they are available from their clubs. Have they been released?

Didn't the Peterborough owner not say a couple of days ago that Leeds had made no approach for Marriot. If I remember correctly, he qualified his statement by saying 'in May' or some such thing. Suggests to me that the Marriot boat may have sailed.

 

He said nobody had made an approach, yet yesterday in the same paper Marriot and his sidekick were mentioned as being avaiable as a pair that Leeds were interested in? Its paper talk like todays stories around Josh King and Defoe from Bournmouth and if Bruce comes he brings Grabban with him for £5m yet another Bournemouth striker especially as Afobe has gone back to Wolves today.
