Trouble is they didn't send him for training, they sent him for game time, would have been a sub for Arsenal getting a few run outs for them, they wanted more game time and they aren't getting it.
You are more than likely right but what is fact, confirmed by Kinnear, is that Arsenal have a recall clause if they think he isn't getting the game time they want, which they may or may not exercise because as you all rightly say he needs to earn his place in the team. As well as Bamford may be playing I don't think he converts enough chances, an problem Bielsa identified as a main cause for our failure last season and still an issue that has contributed in nearly every game so far this season for dropped points. I've said before, call me old fashioned but I judge forwards on their ability to score and despite his much less game time, Eddie is still joint top scorer with Paddy. I accept the other aspects to Bamford's game so I guess it's why some would like to see Eddie play off Bamford but Bielsa has already said he does not like the idea of that. Hopefully we start scoring form the chances we create so we can sit a little easier towards the end of matches because we've put the game to bed. It was an odd feeling I had when the match finished last night because I felt more relief than elated at the end.
So Charlton continue the trend of teams losing their next game after winning their cup final against Leeds.
Got this horrible feeling that Swansea are going to be the next Norwich and dog botherers and not go away when everyone expecting them to, Looking at the table, anyone who can string three or four wins in a row can take control of this division.
