Without a vaccine this is as normal as it will be and as good as it gets. For every activity reopening ie pubs cinemas concerts etc eventually then cases will increase. Unfortunately half the population are probably under 40 and at no risk so understandably want to get on with enjoying their lives. Don’t condone it but understand it
Predominantly in Victoria. It seems, but there is a judicial enquiry ongoing, that people in quarantine were selling sexual favours to be let out to go shopping etc. So it is in the community and going wild. The worrying thing that perhaps your lot should be considering is that Victoria in winter is a bit like the UK in winter. In Queensland we have had some nutters who thought it was a good idea to go to a party in Melbourne and lied to get back without going into quarantine and so we have three community cases at the moment but it could get a lot worse. The next 2-3 days will be very important.
Yes your right, we will need a miracle to avoid a second wave, Belgium are on the brink of one as well as Spain.
I do hope I'm not, a month ago we had about 100 deaths in the whole country as a result of cover-19, now we have more than that in Victoria alone. It is running wild in victoria's old peoples homes, staff and residents
