Afternoon all.... Had a customer ask me how much I’d charge to transport a Barge Panel. I googled it before asking by text what one is, she was surprised I hadn’t seen one? I messaged her again as I still had no idea what a Barge panel was, it wasn’t until the 2nd text she noticed the typo, she wanted a Bath Panel collecting....
So brown won’t be available for a long time according to Bielsa. Not very encouraging but at least he’s honest
I could try as much as I like Shako but I'd be wasting my breath, they are not for turning. Although if the trail is unsuccessful I'll be pointing them in the direction of the Den!!
but not lower his wages and come and help the club this season.no thanks we don't need any old players coming back.
Not quite, I meant Millwall have a habit of getting the best out of players, as in Steve Morison and Tresor Kandol
Just read an interview with Jay Roy Grot and his great performance at the weekend for Venlo, and it raised a question with me about Orta. Wonder what Orta sees in some players that makes him believe they are a bargain and will be a much better player in a couple of years and worth a fortune? He has obviously been proved right in many cases at Leeds after the disaster of last season. Yes some players have been gotten rid of but maybe because Bielsa doesnt have the time to spend on the whole squad? Grot said he is now working with Luc Nillis and learning technique, as he said he had no technique just pace and a shot. Does Orta gamble or can he see something, a bit of promise, because I wouldnt expect him to spend cash on a player with no technique, could be lost in translation but...
Mate, Mike names 14 players every transfer window we should sign (mostly because of press speculation). If we sign one it’s because he’s a super scout (take Foyth, Zouma and Chaulker - sic as the three Centre Halves). The difference is, Orta was allowed to sign them all initially so, like a kid in a sweet shop, some have to be good. Personally I’m well from being convinced by Grot, like one of those flying saucer sweets, looks like it should be delicious but tastes like sugar wrapped in kitchen towel or a stale prawn cracker every time you try one!
I tend to agree emotionally, though he really would be an asset in what would be a tough transition for us. Maybe head should rule heart here, can’t blame him wanting to stay at a club who are flying when he is playing every game. Given these comments were flying around I watched most of the pool v Chelsea cup game last night, in which he started. He looked pretty competent and solid though not eye catching, and was only subbed after 60 minutes when Liverpool went in front (they then conceded twice so maybe that was not such a great decision). I thought the standard of play by both teams was very high (we’d not have done well against either) so The fact Milner looked completely at home (if not sparkling) says he has a lot to offer. He has played pretty much every game this season for a very successful Liverpool. And got MOTM away at Brighton. Seems to be preferred to Henderson at the moment but I’m not an expert on victimpool so might be wrong about that.
