Pleased for Roberts, tried hard first half with little reward, you could see the delight in his face when he scored, good decision by MB to bring him off even though he was on a hattrick, he is our only fit striker no use risking injury. Harrison just got better as the game went on, no pablo but now looking like a reserve we can rely on when pablo is injured or needs a rest. Wouldn't be Leeds to have a target to boo, Ali had a pretty poor game last night but you can't fault his effort, if a player tries his best then no reason to boo. Only hinders the player, makes them make more mistakes, I have a funny feeling we are going to slip up to a side like Wigan or Blackburn.
If I were to knit pick and share one, I wont say criticism, worry is that when things are going well we are slow to make subs. Because of the high tempo pressing game we all agree it is going to be a long tiring season. Once we have a comfortable lead in games like last night I would like to see players given a slight rest. At two nil, even one nil really, would we have been any worse off if we had swapped Forshaw for Phillips or one of the youngsters for Alioski? With our current injury problems would this be a way of lessening the risk? Now I fully agree, who am I to question Bielsa but I hope we are not looking at a jaded worn down squad in Jan/Feb slogging it out trying to stay in the play off spots. I dont think we will be but it is always a concern.
Exactly how I feel, but all of a sudden I know nothing about football and just leave it to Bielsa, he will get my help when I think he's screwing up so will advise him then.
Doc Dean Smith came from Walsall my old mate Chris Hutchings had been in charge and what he did was transform the team and at Brentford despite having to sell Hogan etc they are still near the top /He is a Villa fan and I hope they keep Bruce because by my reckoning he will have signed a further 5 out of contract players to deflect his inability as a manager
Interesting. I'm pretty sure that's the same 2 guys I watched the police trying to separate outside the ground at the end of the match. Didn't look as though they were arrested, though. Yet.
It's called reverse psychology Pennith Also I'm taking the piss because I really hate trying to predict scores.
To some extent most clubs have their 'infighting' from time to time but when its our lot it makes the news.
Its gonna kick off saturday isnt it mate Anyone got any tickets spare for saturday for a couple of mates?
Fighty, hello Mighty Millwall are on sky tonight I may turn it on to see how a top manager bounces back from dropping points at home
