Doc, the only thing about loaning De Paul for a season with a promise to buy is, who'd trust us after the JKA fiasco? I must say, the difference being in the PL with the coverage we're getting is brilliant. Great analysis on Sky Monday night football, plenty of coverage on MOTD. Long may it continue.
Seems Joe Stead has left Halifax Town as Goalkeeper coach and rejoined Leeds as goalkeeping transition coach? Joe was at Leeds back in 08 I think as goalkeeping coach, but he seems to have done a degree or 2 and now top of his field in sports science coaching. Another addition to the staff at TA then https://uk.linkedin.com/public-prof...issionId=0a58b8d5-9038-3516-608c-0479dca3c936
Mike the Summerville deal is done, medical done, now just a case of getting him into TA to do the signing video. He may already be here and training with the video yet to be released. But this is a done deal mate. I ammended the U23 player list last week and also done the same for Jordan Stevens going to Swindon which hasn't been officially done yet. https://www.planetfootball.com/quic...know-about-leeds-bound-crysencio-summerville/
Dude agreed but contracts can be written in a way that covers both parties, whereas the Big Kev deal didnt cover Leeds for faulty goods. Lesson learnt and from what I hear Leeds will win that. The De Paul loan to buy can be worded to say anything
I got it on that Carabao site. Funnily enough I am looking forward to it. There's no pressure tonight and hopefully we get to see some more of the younger players.
If we can get a good deal on De Paul I think we should go for it as long as we don't get ripped off and if this looks like it isn't going to happen then go for Buendia. I'd prefer De Paul but both would be good additions and fill the Hernandez role as we know he's not going to last forever. I think if that was our last bit of business I'd be happy with it. I don't think with we need another CB with Struijlk, Casey, Cresswell and even Davis waiting to be promoted into senior players. I think the side will have numerous changes tonight and I would like to see us go on a little bit of a run as it's not going to be the first team players and it's good to have a serious competition for the younger/fringe players to play in. I don't want anyone getting restless sitting on the bench or not making the PL squad each week. My lineup would be Casilla, Douglas, Davis, Casey, Ayling, Struijk (Kalvin role), Alioski, Shackleton, Roberts, Poveda and Rodrigo which looks a decent side given it's a 2nd team. Looking forward to watching the game with not loads of pressure as I'll be nervous for Fulham at the weekend as it's a must win.
Absolutely gutted as it now seems Obvious I will not be getting a call from Victor Orta, as he seems to think De Paul or Buendia is a better buy than me
Don't pamper him Chesh, the rest of us have had to take up the slack whilst he has been asleep. It's not acceptable, especially on a matchday!
Yeah it'll be nice to watch a game with no pressure on us. I'm not sure why but I always find Hull one of the most boring fixtures on par with Wigan and Reading. I see Macclesfield have gone under. Too many towns are losing their clubs recently.
