I’m not his biggest fan either bud. It may make not a blind bit of difference to him… but it ain’t going to make him play better though is it? As an aside… it may be no coincidence that his only decent scoring season for us was under covid with no fans.
I guess we’ll find out who cares should we go down and see who is prepared to stay for a season to help us come back up. Agree with the rest of your point though
Nothing wrong with sticking up for Bamford and the abuse on-line, but don’t remember people saying the same about the dogs abuse Firpo has put up with for 2 years?
i don’t do social media Doc. If Firpo got abuse and someone brought it up on here, I’d make the same comments. Feel the same about abuse at grounds. The attitude to Jay-Roy Grot, a few years back sickened me. You can’t be booing/mocking a player 1 minute then bitch about player loyalty the next.
Any abuse to players is disgusting and all keyboard warriors are scum. There are places, like this one, for debate and criticism but abuse is for the weak minded who are unable to form a cognitive way to express their displeasure so revert to abuse.
Seen a post on a facebook page by a so called Top fan. He is urging fans to turn their backs at the spurs game or protest and direct abuse at the board in the East stand. What the the silly khunt hopes to achieve i don't know. Far better for the fans to make a lot of noise and go down in defiance than to feed the media carrion. I can remember when the final home game was a party atmosphere with inflatables being passed about.
