Is quick because big Ange at Spurs plays a high line that requires really rapid centre backs, which is why he’s getting rid of Dyer. Charlie won’t make it there if he isn’t.
I just find it amazing that everyone in the game thinks Cresswell is going to be a top player and countless teams want him yet his own club dont?
Farke learned early on that you leave Joe Rodon out at your peril. Now as Cresswell is a right sided centre back the same as Rodon we all know why he's not had much game time. This is why I'm finding it difficult to understand everyone (well Doc anyway) getting their knickers in a twist over whether he gets splinters in his backside or not. Cresswell is no different to every other footballer who simply has to wait for his opportunity and last season at Millwall he was on the bench plenty of times before an injury to the player in front of him gave him exactly that. Head down, train hard, listen and learn and then when the chance comes make the manager sit up and take notice.
Been reading this here and elsewhere for what seems like ages. Farkes not first coach to have bypassed Creswell is he. As he sees him daily maybe he feels he’s not as good as the fans think. Would seem a likely explanation. If he wasn’t home grown would there be the same fuss anyway
Oh and all the smoke is coming from the Cresswell camp and when Gnonto and/or his agent were angling for a move no one liked it. Summerville and Drameh called out for being difficult when they wanted loans or to leave. Double standards for son of Cresswell it seems.
Surely you mean treat him the same as everyone else. Which is honour your contract, concentrate on your football and the rest will take care of itself.
Honour your contract are you coming over all old school ...... there's no such thing anymore that remotely resembles that statement... loyalty meh
You mean honour your contract until you piss the fans off by running down your contract for a big payday you greedy ****
At the end of the season, three games to go, we face Boro at their ground so at least doing it as a loan means he can’t face us. It won’t stop him being able to give any insider info though. You just have to assume we have a new fullback incoming
That's him and spence off the wage bill. Now we can bring in someone who we can actually use for once.
Love Bill myself. If we have a first team squad of 24 or more, can’t we save a place for at least one that makes you laugh? I’ve tried doing the Ayling flop in my lounge and he makes it look a lot easier than it is and I am only 20 odd years older than him. And don’t get me started on the goal celebrations, apparently that china has been in her family for three generations
Ayling will be the one laughing now as he will get a two year deal. Thank you for your service Luke but he was never that quick.
