Yeah I know Wakey meant Brighton and Potter but White had been on loan to a few lower league clubs before joining Leeds on loan and had hardly played for Potter so the point he was trying to make was irrelevant
Yeah Newport and Peterborough if I remember correctly, in fact he played for Newport in a cup game against us the season before he joined us. Personally I never understood some fans belittling him for going back to Brighton after his loan period with us. He had no choice, IMO he’s a fantastic player, who’d be a ever present in my team. Just has wasn’t worth £50m, when we needed to bolster our squad with a top quality striker (which we’re still waiting for).
