FARKE brought in Darlow as he expected Meslier to go but he’s still here and still selected ahead of Darlow. FARKE brought in his own goalkeeping coach and still Meslier is selected, so you have to trust they know what they’re doing. For me Mes ain’t good enough but maybe I’m not an expert

Just about everyone on here slated Rutter but some of us could see his massive potential. For example even when warming up at ER on matchdays he was showing some amazing skills, plus he's 10 times the player Gnonto is but unfortunately all our managers/coaches got it wrong with him last season.

Thank god for Farke as he clearly made him the main man right from the off.

Whatever supporters think of Mes, he is certainly good enough for this League. <ok>

    Absolutely 100% good enough.

Yet some supporters are still on his back, which I think says more about them than him.

I always thought he had it in him personally Jammy. I remember seeing him applauding the supporters at the end of the season and he was delighted when the supporters chanted his name and had a smile on his face, even though he had endured a hard season. <ok>

True, I still can't believe that save he made at the end against Leicester. <ok>

Emu gave him 7/10 for the Leicester game.

We can only wonder what his rating would have been if Ayling had headed the ball away instead of Meslier making that save.

My plan for Firpo is to avoid playing him at all costs.

He would have got a 6. He had nothing to do but at 1-0 he refused to come and collect in his own 6 yard area leaving a 17 year old midfielder playing out of position to make 2 tough defensive calls facing his own goal.

I definitely was not one of those that slated Rutter. Not that I am perfect, in the past, I may have slagged off Grot, Doukarra and possibly Antennucci but that was only because they were garbage. I learnt my lesson mind when I said I thought the treatment of Rutter was wrong...... along came the Milky to remind me of my posts from years before about Grot (I didn't know he even reads my posts!).

In your learned opinion, would you say Rutter has more talent than the 3 I have mentioned?

Oh and, for the record, totally agree he is far superior to Gnonto.

Yeah, @milkyboy is a bit of a ****er for remembering things. I think I'm just lucky that he likes me otherwise I could be in a world of ****. I'm also lucky that @jammy (captain hindsight) hasn't got the patience to go through my previous posts.

It’s interesting that I remember things but have absolutely no recollection of picking up Marcos on his Grot comments

Or what I had for breakfast

And what this post says about you is that if someone disagrees with your opinion you think there must be something wrong with them

maybe it wasn’t the managers getting it wrong, maybe it took him time to settle in a new country and he wasn’t quite ready for a faster paced higher quality league than he was used to. Maybe playing at a lower level this year in a team that is more successful and has more of the ball has helped him

some smart people said when he signed that the concern with his price tag was that people would expect instant results from a young lad… and that they should reign in expectations and not judge him too soon

I think Matt always spoke very highly of him.

    ????

I'm confused as to why you're asking if Georgie is better than the three you mentioned.

Do you need to lie down ?
